Alice Isibika, PhD candidate at Kretsloppsteknik, participated in University of Dar es salaam’s Research Week Exhibition. The event showcased research, innovation, public service and knowledge exchange activities of the university’s academic staff and students to the public. In the post-graduate student projects category, Alice was placed third winner at the first phase and the second winner at the second phase.

The exhibitions were in three phases; first phase was from 19th to 21st April, second phase was from 30th May to 4th June and the last phase was from 28th June to 13th July. The research weeks exhibitions aimed at presenting research-based solutions to a range of societal challenges in the country. The theme was ” Advancing Research and Innovation for Sustainable Utilization of National Resources”. The exhibitors who had best projects were rewarded in the first and second phase.
