New grants received

New grants were received in 2016!

Jörgen Wallerman was the main applicant for a grant from the Swedish Forest Society Foundation, with Erik Willén (Skogforsk), Johan Fransson, and Jonas Bohlin as co-applicants. Approximately 800 tSEK over 2016-2017 will go to the project ”Large scale and accurate mapping of forest data from stereo-matched aerial photos with harvester data as ground reference”.

Johan Holmgren was co-applicant (Erik Willén from Skogforsk was the main applicant, and Michael Tulldahl FOI as co-applicant) for a grant from Brattåsstiftelsen, for ”Mobile laser scanning for collection of tree data”, at a total of 1.8 million SEK over three years between the three organisations.

Johan Holmgren also received notice late 2015 that the Bo Rydin foundation approved his grant (Mattias Nyström, Kenneth Olofsson, and Håkan Olsson co-applicants) on Mobile Laser Scanning at approximately 724 tsek 2016-17.

Congratulations!
