On February 17th, Göran Persson (former Swedish Prime Minister and currently Chairman of the Board of Sveaskog) visited SLU to give a talk about the future of the Swedish forest industry and to meet SLU employees and students. Mattias Nyström took the chance to show Göran Persson some recent work from the Remote Sensing section, including the Ljungbergs lab (including UAVs), and the national forest parameter estimates created from ALS data.
