Waffle Day will be celebrated in Sweden on the 25th of March!
It is a tradition where, obviously, waffles are typically eaten. Våffeldagen (= waffle day) is another day which is related to the food. And if you follow my articles, you already know that in Sweden, there are many days like this.
Swedish waffles are a bit different from the well known Belgian waffles. They are flatter and are normally made in a special waffle maker which makes the waffles heart-shaped. They are served with jam and cream. In the picture, you can see typical Swedsih waffle. I had this waffle on the trip close to Stockholm and it was amazing.
Make sure you will have your waffle on the 25th (or whenever)
